Horse Girl Zine

This zine started out as a non-fiction love letter to horses and evolved into a mini graphic memoir about my childhood & love for drawing. As a horse obsessed, weird and creative kid growing up in the 80’s, one of my biggest fears was growing up to be someone I wasn’t in order to fit into the world. So naturally I leaned into my imaginary world of magical pegasus’s, unicorns and horses to cope. But after a mental tussle with a school bully & a horrible nightmare, I travel to the future in a cardboard time machine to find out if my future self still loves horse, drawing and is someone I can be proud of.
